Background info:
An industrial wastewater treatment plant in the pharmaceutical industry produces odorous exhaust air and VOC emissions by temporarily storing wastewater in an existing buffer tank (V = 5,000 m3).
As part of the storage process, it can be stored in parts of the container that can be subjected to anaerobic processes, or the ingredients can be stripped out. During filling processes, the container's air is displaced and led to the outside.
Exhaust air treatment system Uviblox® FOX:
To avoid unpleasant odors, the exhaust air from the container is extracted via a technical ventilation system and treated in the UV photooxidation system. The system consistently purifies exhaust air to 500 GE/m3.
